Welcome to my website. I’m a passionate amateur songwriter, producer, photographer, videographer, and blogger. I write about my creative process, health issues, and just about anything else that strikes my fancy.

I’m a co-founder and co-host of the Song Talk Radio podcast and Meetup group; producer, drummer and co-songwriter of the indie-folk-rock band Beige Shelter; and I also release my own music.

I invite you to spend some time here, discover something, maybe learn something, have a laugh, and enjoy my musings. Thanks for visiting!

I expanded his melody to make it, well, more melodic, and laid down a chord progression on the piano to carry it. While Nomi’s melody suggested a clear I [...]

According to my wife, I’m a music snob. It’s true that I know what I like and don’t feel shy about expressing it and even citing the reasons why. But I’m not about to tell anyone else their taste in music is wrong. I just happened to think my taste in music is great. So, in [...]

  • While at the Facilities Management department at London Health Sciences Centre, I was responsible for developing the graphical content for the touchscreen wayfinding features, including maps, buttons, and backgrounds, working primarily with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Special care to be taken with planning and exporting the map graphics so that future edits to the maps [...]

Some of the shots were from a guided riverboat tour, and some of them make use of HDR (high dynamic range) photography. For some of these shots, I tried to showcase the contrasts between the colours and textures of the [...]
